ALTERATIONS
Sewing alterations involve a list of modifications that can be done to clothing items to achieve a better fit or style. These alterations may include: hemming, taking in or letting out seams, shortening or lengthening sleeves, adjusting waistbands, adding darts for a more flattering shape, sewing on patches, repairing damaged areas, replacing buttons or zippers, or even completely transforming a garment into something new.
